I absolutely LOVE snow! I love seeing it fall, I love having it on the ground, and I love living in a part of NC that shuts down when it snows so I don’t have to go anywhere! This year I got to have snow for Christmas Day. It started falling mid-morning and just kept right on coming down all day long. Here are some pictures Mom and I took.
“Don’t knock the weather; nine-tenths of the people couldn’t start a conversation if it didn’t change once in a while.” ~ Kin Hubbard

“To be interested in the changing seasons is a happier state of mind than to be hopelessly in love with Spring.” ~ George Santayana

“The first fall of snow is not only an event, it is a magical event. You go to bed in one kind of world and wake up in another quite different, and if this is not enchantment then where is it to be found?” ~ J.B. Priestly
Out the Front door
“Snowmen fall from Heaven unassembled.”
Down the street
“There’s one good thing about snow, it makes your lawn look just as good as your neighbors.” ~ Clyde Moore
Wow, you guys got a lot of snow. Did you all get snowed in for church? I like your new blog layout!
ReplyDeleteMaranatha cancelled church all day and Emmanuel cancelled their evening service. We still have patches of snow and ice all over the place! :)
